My question is does this skill mean that I don't take damage from Reposite? No idea where I can test this besides UW so better to ask here.

It still does damage because the description says ",and your attacker takes..."

You will damage your foe through the Riposte, without Warriors Cunning you wouldn't, BUT you will still take the Riposte damage as this is not contingent on the block part of the Riposte skill being successful.
